Recently I helped a player with some advice on how to increase their framerate & what'll be best to upgrade first (Graphic card or CPU/Motherboard) & it got me wondering what PC specifications the players are currently using to Play Minecraft - or any other games for that matter So in case you don't know your PC specs then I suggest you either google for a 'PC SPECIFICATION' program. My current favorite is 'Speccy (portable)' since you just need to unzip it & run.. no need to install it Alternatively you could pop along to websites like www.systemrequirementslab.com which give some of the details Speccy does (what it doesn't show is Motherboard info) I'll kick off the thread:- My PC was brought August 2014 & cost me ~£800 [£817 to be exact] just for the PC Base (no Hardware) - I found the old receipt so that's how I know this info . The Specs are (using 'Speccy'):- Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bitCPU: Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz [Haswell 22nm Technology]RAM: 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z97P-D3 (SOCKET 0)Graphicscard: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (ZOTAC International)Storage: 111GB KINGSTON SV300S37A120G (SSD) 931GB Seagate ST1000DM003-1ER162 (SATA)Optical Drives: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224DBAudio: Realtek High Definition Audio (Onboard) I also used the 'Can You Run It?' webpage to test some of the ''Most demanding games'. The list included 'Hitman', 'Battlefield 1', 'Far Cry Primal', 'The Division' & 'Deux Ex Mankind Divided' Most of the time it came up OK on Minimum but NOK for 'Recommended' - in most cases it just suggested upgrading the Graphics card to get there, so personally I think my PC was a little OP way back in 2014 if it can handle this stuff now So what is everyone else using ??
